Dr.Tom Mitchell is a Doctor of Chiropractic from Raleigh, North
Carolina, USA. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1997.
During his four years of chiropractic college, he received rigorous
training in anatomy, pathology, physiology, radiology, and chemistry in
addition to the art and science of chiropractic. Additionally, he became
a fellow of the Acupuncture Society of America, and he was certified
to practice acupuncture in 1998.
He has pursued his interest in Ayurveda since the early 1980s. Since
2002 he has worked closely with Dr.Pankaj Naram
and Dr. Smita Naram, two of the world’s leading experts
in nadi vigyan (Ayurvedic pulse diagnosis). Dr.Mitchell had an
opportunity to work with Dr. Naram for many years and also sees
patients together with Dr. Smita in clinics, both in India and the U.S.
Dr. Tom provides mentoring for many educational programs for
Ayurshakti Ayurved with emphasis on teaching others pulse diagnosis
and traditional Ayurvedic practices.
